Product manager Rune Holmedal takes us through our comprehensive delivery to Havila Castor, from the bridge to the propeller. 

As system integrator of the hybrid propulsion system, battery system, generators with complete switchboards, frequency converters, transformers, control

systems, its new integrated  
navigation system, Raven  
INS, and preparing for  
2MW shore charging

We are proud to have delivered one of the world's largest ship battery packs to Capella, a hybrid gas-electric propulsion system and smart control systems for the entire ship.   
The ship can operate fully zero-emission on batteries for up to 4 hours. When not sailing on battery, it runs on has 90 % lower NOx emissions and 25 % lower CO2 emissions than similar vessels.
